Grants

We know very well about the financial costs of adoption and believe more couples would adopt children both domestically and internationally if help with the financial aspects was available. Kinsman Redeemer provides grants from $1,000 to $7,000 to Christian adoptive couples who are residents of Missouri.

Our Board of Directors prayerfully seeks God's guidance before making grant decisions. The Board meets every quarter and typically awards grants to families who have completed their home study and have invested their own time and money in the adoption process. We generally choose families who have received a referral and are lacking the last portion of money needed to complete their adoption process.

When submitting your grant applications, please keep in mind our quarterly deadlines. Completed applications must be received as follows:

• by February 15th to be reviewed at our March meeting
• by May 15th to be reviewed at our June meeting
• by August 15th to be reviewed at our September meeting
• by November 15th to be reviewd at our December meeting

Our decisions are made each quarter after all documents have been submitted and we have asked for God's guidance in prayer.

We will notify applicants about the status of their application after our meetings.
