We know very well about the financial costs of adoption and believe more couples would adopt children both domestically and internationally if help with the financial aspects was available. Kinsman Redeemer provides grants from $1,000 to $7,000 to Christian adoptive couples living in or with family ties to Missouri.

Our Board of Directors prayerfully seeks God’s guidance before making grant decisions.  The Board meets every quarter and typically awards grants to families who have completed their home study and have invested their own time and money in the adoption process.  We generally choose families who have received a referral and are lacking the last portion of money needed to complete their adoption process.

If we begin awarding grants to families who live outside of Missouri, we will announce it on this page.

When submitting your grant applications, please keep in mind our quarterly deadlines.  Completed applications must be received as follows:

• by November 15th to be reviewed at our December 2008 meeting
• by February 15th to be reviewed at our March 2009 meeting
• by May 15th to be reviewed at our June 2009 meeting

After our meetings, we will notify applicants about the status of their application.
